Laboratory-based Drug Testing Options
Results reported within 24 to 72 hours
All substance abuse specimens submitted to laboratory for testing are initially tested using the enzyme immunoassay (EIA) screening technique. This objective method is both computerized and automated to ensure reliable results and industry-leading turnaround times.
Standard Urine Testing
One of the most common screening methods, urine testing is an accurate and reliable way to detect casual drug use that occurred within the previous 72 hours. Testing is performed at all SAMHSA-certified laboratories.
In addition to the Federally-mandated (SAMHSA/DOT) 5-drug panel, Drug Test Coordinators, Inc. offers a variety of test panels and cut off levels. Our standard urine specimen 5-drug panel test screens for the presence of the following drugs and drug classes.

Dilute Specimen
Dilution should not be confused with adulteration, where chemical adulterants are directly added to a urine specimen. Dilution is the process of reducing the concentration of drug or drug metabolites in the sample.
Oral Fluid Testing
Oral fluid collection devices, where a swab is used to collect a saliva sample, allow for specimen collection at any time or any place, helping to simplify the collection process while preserving the donor's dignity. Since the sample is collected under direct supervision, the chance for specimen adulteration is greatly reduced.
Hair Testing
A non-invasive, adulterant-resistant test that provides up to a 90-day history of drug use for the 5 most common classes of drugs including Ecstasy. In addition, a hair specimen can be collected at virtually any location.
